TERRY DUNK MEMORIAL ROPING, MAY 29, 2010

The third annual Terry Dunk Memorial Roping was held on May 29th.  It was a three head progressive roping and there were 312 teams in the first go.

They also had a kid's barrel race which was won by Tayler Dunk and a team barrel race, won by Jody Swearingen and Jim Woods (Teri Lee Dunk's father). 

We enjoyed a beef and pork barbeque after the roping.  The Dunk family would like to thank all the sponsors listed below, plus Jeremy McCulligh and Dawn Civiero for added money.

This year's saddle winner was Trevor Dunk (left to right - Trevor Dunk, Teri Lee Dunk, Cheryl Dunk, Tayler Dunk, Tracy Pighin, Al Pighin)

1st place - Trevor Dunk and Jason Thomson - $1,610.40/each, rope bags made by Ken Boroski and donated by the Scully family.  Also, leather jackets from the 730 Truck Stop in Cardinal, Ontario.

2nd place - Trevor Dunk and Stu Cahill, $1288.32/each and breast collars from Ken Doner.

3rd place - Stu Cahill and Brad  Bowie, $966.24/each

4th place - Cody Mousseau and Brian Roworth- $644.16/each

5th place - John Scully and Brad Roe - $483.12/each

6th place - Lacey Beer and Brad Bowie - $375.76/each

Top ladies Header and Heeler, Lacey Beer and Dawn Civiero received halters made by Ken Boroski and donated by Teri Lee Dunk.

The fastest time of the day was 8.16 by Trevor Dunk and Tim Carnes (not pictured), prizes made and donated by Ken Boroski.
